Sunday Morning

Hello dear readers!
Sunday morning is great chance to feel free and go outside!
A jogging is always a good idea on a sunny Sunday morning. Especially if you live here in Banjarbaru.
Banjarbaru has a lot to offer... when it comes to hangout places, you will find your self happy to be here :D
Spending your Sunday morning on the Mayor's office area is a nice choice to consider.
The Mayor's office is surrounded by other governmental offices, at the centre, you will see a huge open space with big trees along the sides and pedestrian walking spaces huge enough to go walking by charlie's angels style with your friends. That open space, we called it lapangan murjani.
On Sunday morning:
there will be farmer's market selling fresh vegetables and sometimes flowers... there will also be many local people selling plenty type of breakfast for you to choose... porridge, cream soup, satay, rice meals, pastries, thai tea, chocolate blend drinks, you name it.
And still enough space for us Banjarbarunians take a jog or rollerblading.
This is where I go when I want to feel that friendly smalltown vibe...
If you really want to experience Banjarbaru street fashion, Sunday morning on Murjani is definitely one of the best place.
You will see people young and old, families, loving couples, but mostly young people...
from yoga pants + over sized Tshirts, to matching tracksuit... from shiny basketball shorts, to short jogging pants + crop tops...
Sometimes I even see skinny jeans + sweatshirt rolling around in inlineskate... or tight chinos + statement Tshirts + snapback skateboarding around...
Here I posted pics and sketches
Of what I wore on one Sunday morning I also went to Murjani sported a banana-yellow polo shirt, a pair of white shorts, a pair of light turquoise sneakers with swipes of mascara on my lashes and tinted lipbalm on my pout.
Enjoying our town...
If you want to feel that Banjarbaru vibe,
Or wanna feel like a true Banjarbarunian,
Make sure you try and come by at Murjani on a Sunday morning.
Have a great day :)

Casual Night

Hi..!
My dear readers...
Sometimes we just need a few things... need to tick that list of stuffs you must buy at the grocery store.
Here I post pics of what I look like, buying things at a grocery store on a shopping mall.
Because it was just a quick run, grab a burger and a float drink with my sister riding a motorcycle kind of night... sure I just want to keep it fresh and simple.
So I wear my bootcut jeans, put on a grey tank, add a gray cardi, slip on a pair of flats, grab my sling purse and I'm ready to go. With just  a swipe of mascara, a glide of clear lip balm and my everyday wear gold jewels... no fuss...
How about you?
What do you choose to wear on a casual night of burger and float?
What would you wear on a quick trip to the mall?

A Walk on a Sunny Day

My glad-to-see-my-breakfast face
breakfast

Hello!

Do you like to go for a walk?
I guess... Wether it's running errands, get some fresh air, healthy living or just to clear your mind... sometimes we just walk. No machines, no technology, just those two old feet.

Weeks ago I have an important letter to pick up at an office somewhere downtown. It's sunny almost everyday nowadays in Banjarbaru...

so I strap on those old sneakers, put on my only pair of blue bootcut jeans, and go get my self that important letter.

Yup, I also experience to ride in a public transportation to and from my quick trip.

Start with a yummy breakfast meal at a fastfood place, enjoying every munch... I even took pictures and send them in a collage on a chat  with my dear friend, talking bout how awesome my new cellphone is. Thanks to him... (see, days earlier  I needed a new cellphone, so I texted him asking what phone is best for me and he suggested this one, voila 30minutes later... new phone!)
The chicken porridge on that fastfood place always taste great!

Anyway... the 3hours trip on that sunny day went nice and I even got the chance to drop by on a makeup store to get an eyeliner pencil. Ha :D
Got home a bit sweaty and tired, but it sure was fun to go on a walk once in while :)

How about you?
Do you like to take a walk sometimes?
How do you feel about it?

Feels like Autumn

Hi..!

It's almost October.
Even though the reality here in Banjarbaru sunny, bright and pretty hot at the moment...
I feel like publishing an Autumn-ish outfit I wore last month haha.
Complete with bronze smokey eyes, here I post an ensemble of below the knee boots, above the knee skirt, loose blouse, daylight clutch, beach hair curls and pinkmauve pout.
I really love how it turned out.
Especially the smokey eyes.
I always want to try intense eyes.
finally I'm old enough to rock them :D
Do you have a look you've waited long to try?
Go on, Put them on!
Be whatever you want to be, however you want.
Who knows?
maybe you would love it,
maybe not,
all yours to decide!

Reunion

Hello dear readers!
It's been a while since my last post. Accept my apology, I don't know why I didn't wrote sooner despite I have some outfits and looks waiting to be published for the world to see.
Okay, let's see what I have for you :)
Here I post pictures of what I wore to my High School year 2011 reunion dinner last month.
It was our first all-class reunion. Even though not everybody could come, the dinner was joyful.
I would definitely glad to attend any reunion in the future.
Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention. This outfit is very comfortable and sweet in my opinion, I happily wore this  to a friendly fastfood catching up  right after the reunion dinner without no doubt :D the fastfood munching was not bad, eating burgers and french fries, catching up, enjoy our time together. It was really one of those simple memories with my dear friend that I will collect.
Applause to my clothing items: Good job clothes and accessories! Y'all were great throughout the nite.

This is How I Feel Pretty&Great in a Tshirt

Hi!
Sometimes I go to a public place to enjoy the day...
Or to enjoy the day and people-watching at the same time.
It seems that of all clothing items available in a reach of our hands, there will always be some pieces people fond to wear.
One of them is the all time casual favorite: Tshirt!
What at first was served as a male undergarment now play an important role of a basic piece everybody old and young would have in their wardrobe.
I have a few in my homewear and workout collection because Tshirts are practical and easy to move in.
They're supposed to be in the undergarments and casual line in fashion etiquette.
Nowadays... in the name of individuality, urban lifestyle and freedom to express personal styles, now Tshirts are bending the rules -- shown by stylist and bold people worn them as semi formal, formal and even glamour touch by adding glitzy accessories.
I personally believe Tshirts should stay in casualwear, but still are capable to be a bit more chic or neat with some effort.
I would:
Go with simple, fresh, clean look,
In a regular fit,
May be oversize if croped or off shoulders and paired with close fit items,
Paired with other simple and neat/smart looking items,
Try to keep the whole look in a feminine vibe.
So this time, I want to share a soft look I choose to go with my casualwear-Tshirt. once up on a day when my parents, my little sister and I went to a fastfood place to grab early dinner. Sport it with a short skirt, lightweight cardigan, nude shoes and small floral purse.
How about you, do you like Tshirts? What kind of looks do you choose to go in them?

Pop of red-violet

Hi..!
Once up on a Sunday...
The sun slowly rose,
Clumps of clouds here and there as the morning goes,
I could almost hear the sky calling my name,
"Naomi, it's a lovely day. Go out, don't forgot your color game"
So I rose, same as the sun,
Open my eyes to join the fun.
Took a bath ooh so very fresh,
Then I throw on me a red-violet dress.
So I got ready,
Smiling and happy.
So that's the story of one day to the church we went...
But so sorry, good bye for now, 'cause this story must end.

Hanging Loose

Hi dear readers :D
I know,
I am aware (like many other posts I had published) this is not an important issue.
But...
But if you have a spare time and want to know more, keep on reading ;)
I'm not sure if you've noticed.
But if you've been paying careful attention, you might noticed the fact that I am rarely wrapped in trousers or pants...
I mostly chose to go with short skirts, dresses, or shorts.
I do like trousers, I don't have anything against them...
But they are quite difficult on me, I tend to look drab or washed out in them. Even in jeans!
They are lovely and I must choose them wisely for us to be collaborate in the best possible way.
So here I present to you, a stunning look arranged by my Mother and I...
I love love love this look so much!
I wore it casually on an afternoon to a venue where our showchoir performed a few songs a cappella.
I would love to sport this look again in the future.
Every single detail felt precise, this look screams NAOMI, you know, in a casual laid back kind of way. Haha
How bout you?
What second choice look turns out to be great on you?

Street Food Hunt

Hi :D
Last Monday, I've tag along my big sister to a street food hunt. We went to the annual Ramadhan street food market in our town where traditional and modern snacks & cuisine sold every afternoon around 4pm until 6pm.
It's quite a challange to pick just a few snacks among all the goodies lining up before our eyes.
It's also a challange to choose the right outfit to go with.
A casual atmosphere with hint of traditional vibe plus I would probably (I did) chatch some friends who are also in a street food hunt (better look nice).
I went with a throw of
An easy brown short skirt,
A cute purple tight fitting top,
A matching jacket,
An easy sling purse,
And a pair of cute flats.
Put on some lipcolor, mascara, and I'm ready :)
How about you,
What kind of look you choose for a street food hunt?

Express Your Heart

Hello there :)
Have you ever felt this feeling?
When you open your wardrobe and your eyes knew right away the perfect outfit to portray your mood that day?
I felt it recently, on a sunny Sunday morning, 6 July 2014 to be precise.
I was very excited to go to the holy mass at church. Had a great weekend and I just want to sealed it with serene joyful peace.
This magenta dress perfectly express my happiness. Love the low back, length of the sleeves and ofcourse the color!
The blueish purse and nude shoes combo add a special feeling to this look, in a same way how I felt the past days I spend with a group of lovely people.
I didn't put on much make up like I used to feel. Don't know why...
Anyway
The important lesson here is
The way you dress,
The items you choose,
Can express how you feel inside your heart.
Haha I guess it's one of many ways to be honest and true to yourself.
Have you been honest to yourself lately?
Let's learn together, one dress at a time ;)

A Stroll at a Mall

Hello dear readers!
Last Saturday, my family and I
decided to go to a mall in a city next to our town. It was a crowded day, but worth it for the quality time trip we had together.
Here I post pics of what I wore  that day.
A pair of cute sneakers (twinsies with my BFF's),
A bedazled purse,
A polo dress.
I LOVE THIS DRESS! omg!
The reasons I love polo dresses are spot on:
one swoop and you're done,
simple and neat,
great to move in, it's a sport dress anyway,
a touch of timeless classic.
I'm not a sporty girl,
but I must admit
polo dresses are a blessing! :D
What sporty clothing items do YOU love?

Chaperoning for Prom

Hi..!
If you have read the post about the prom www.naomikarsudjono.blogspot.nl/2014/06/prom-wonderful-night.html?m=1
Besides all the planning, work and decorating me and my Mom help+guided me with care,
There's one thing I was secretly enjoyed and totally excited about:
Dressing up! Haha
Well, for that night,
Eugen, Bianca, Kiki, Jodi, Surya and ofcourse my self, were on chaperone duty: being adults responsible for everyguests.
keeping that in mind + remembering I was there as the party maker,
I decided to wore an ensemble of simple, grown up feel and glamorous.
I wore a blueish purple cocktail dress, was my mom's when I was a baby.
Shoes I love most: comfy hot pink platform pumps.
A chunky gold cocktail ring.
A sequined hot pink party clutch.
I simply put on some mascara and hot pink lips.
Oh yea, the fluffy faux fur black bolero and fluffy black boots
I wore as outerwear to and from the party..
Dressing up for party.
Seems usual or not important for else eyes, but a very joyful thing for me.
Do YOU have a thing you secretly excited for & enjoy to do?

Easy Recipe: Tshirt + Messy-bun

My tired face haha
very messy hair bun

Hello dear readers!
If you read my posts before, you may know that I take part in a showchoir.
To be honest... Singing and dancing is hard, enjoyable and somehow at the same time feels like sport. We sweat alot, as if we're working out.
To do so,
something easy, comfortable and sweat proof will be perfect for showchoir practices.
Here are picts of what I wore, singing & dancing practice someday in early May.
Threw on a Tshirt, a tshirt-skirt and my hair in a messy bun.
I think you will see somemore of my casual showchoir practice outfits  in the future... Hope I will remember to take more picts.
Thanks for dropping by!
